Alan Pardew could be without five first team names when Crystal Palace go to West Ham United on Saturday.
The Eagles need a win at all costs to arrest their slide towards the Premier League dropzone – they are now only seven points clear with eight games remaining.
Pardew has not managed a league win in 13 outings, and his chances of finding one in east London have been dealt a blow.
He said: “Emanuel Adebayor has a knock, so we're waiting on him. We're desperate to get him up to speed.

CRYSTAL PALACE: Inniss positive in face of season-ending injury
“[James] McArthur is progressing, but is still some way off, and [Yohan] Cabaye and Mile [Jedinak] have knocks. We're not sure if they're both going to make it.”
He added: “Connor [Wickham] did the warm up today and we're hoping he gets some football this week. That's great news for us.”
Palace dipped into the transfer market this week to sign Margate striker Freddie Ladapo – however, the 23-year-old will not be taking his first team bow any time soon.
Pardew said: “Ladapo won't be seen this season. He's got a natural way about the way he finishes, but he's got a lot to do.
“He will probably go on loan next year.”
