New figures have revealed which GP surgeries in Sutton received the highest and lowest patient satisfaction ratings in 2026.
The NHS England GP Patient Survey gathers views from patients about their experiences of local practices, asking them to assess areas including access to appointments, communication with healthcare staff and the quality of care they receive.
A total of 21 GP surgeries across Sutton featured in this year’s survey, with results based on responses from registered patients who shared their views on their local healthcare services.
Patients were asked to give an overall rating of their experience, with the rankings based on the proportion who described their practice as having a “Very good” or “Fairly good” overall experience.

The NHS England GP Patient Survey gives patients the opportunity to share their experiences of local primary care services and helps highlight areas where practices are performing well and where improvements may be needed.
A spokesperson for NHS South West London said: “The annual patient survey results highlight the positive experiences most people have of primary care services in south west London thanks to the commitment of our primary care teams, who continue to work incredibly hard to deliver high-quality care – 93% of patients had confidence in the person providing their care and more than 8 out of 10 reported a good overall level of satisfaction.
“While south west London overall performs above the London and national average in many areas, with improvements seen since last year, we know there is still more to do and we’ll continue to work with GP practices to improve access, as we build towards a neighbourhood health service.
“Neighbourhood health will see GP practices work more closely with community services, mental health, social care and the voluntary sector through Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs).
“The aim is care that’s built around where people live, not around organisational boundaries.”
