Stormzy has been fined for using his phone at the wheel of his Ferrari in Kingston.
The 32-year-old rapper admitted to the offence after being stopped by police in November 2025.
He was spotted typing an address into his phone’s map app while stationary in traffic and later pleaded guilty to not having proper control of his vehicle, reports London Now.
He was fined £533 at Croydon Magistrates’ Court.
Magistrate Lynn Keane also ordered him to pay £120 in costs, a £213 victim surcharge, and endorsed his licence with three penalty points.
Stormzy, whose real name is Michael Ebenazer Owuo Jr, was pulled over in his black Ferrari Purosangue at 9.25am on November 10 by PC Glen Lambert.
PC Lambert said: "As I passed the vehicle on the offside to filter through traffic, I noticed the driver was inputting an address on his maps application on his mobile phone.
"From what I had seen of the vehicle’s movements, I was satisfied that the standard of driving had fallen below that of a driver in full, careful control of their vehicle.
"I stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver.
"The driver confirmed that he had just been setting a route on his maps and that he had only just picked up the device as I passed."
Stormzy, who entered a guilty plea in writing, said: "I accept I was putting a location in the map."
The incident took place just a month after he ran out of petrol in the same Ferrari on Putney High Street.
While waiting for assistance, the rapper held an impromptu meet-and-greet with fans and posted a video.
He has been given a month to pay the £866 total issued by the court.
The case was handled by the Single Justice Procedure on May 7 in a private hearing that he did not need to attend.
This is not Stormzy’s first driving offence.
In January 2025, he received a nine-month driving ban after being caught on his phone by an off-duty officer while driving a Rolls-Royce in West Kensington.
He was handed a £2,010 court bill after pleading guilty and also admitted a second charge of having overly tinted windows.
