A man has died after a late-night crash in Surrey.
Surrey Police was called to a two-vehicle crash involving a white BMW and a grey Land Rover Freelander on the A246 Guildford Road in Effingham at around 10.30pm on Wednesday (May 13).
The passenger in the BMW, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of the BMW and Land Rover, both men in their 20s and 80s respectively, were seriously injured and taken to hospital.
Their condition is not currently known.
The families of all three have been made aware.
The driver of the BMW was arrested on suspicion of causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving and will be taken into custody once he has been treated for his injuries.
