Five teenagers have been arrested following a large fight in Surrey.
Surrey Police was called just before 7.20pm on Thursday (April 30) following reports of a large fight on Croydon Road in Caterham.
Two 16-year-old boys, a 14-year-old boy, a 15-year-old boy, and a 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of affray.
They remain in custody.
Since the incident, police have been given extra powers with a dispersal order authorised across Caterham Valley until 5pm tomorrow (May 3).
The order was approved by Inspector Rob Staplehurst.
Dispersal orders give officers the power to order groups of two or more people to leave an area if they are committing, or are likely to commit, a criminal offence.
These powers can be used not only when incidents have already happened or are happening but also when there is a risk they may occur.
Officers will be patrolling the area, and anyone refusing to comply could face arrest.
Enquiries are ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact police quoting PR/45260050143.
