Data from the Department for Education has revealed how many students in Sutton secondary schools stayed in education, employment or training after finishing their GCSEs.
The figures show the percentage of pupils who had a sustained destination after Key Stage 4, meaning they continued into sixth form, college, an apprenticeship, or a job for at least two terms after leaving school.
Not every pupil can be tracked as some move abroad or leave the state system, so ratings use confirmed destinations only.
Below is a table showing Sutton's mainstream secondary schools, the number of pupils in each Year 11 cohort, and the percentage who stayed in education, employment or training after GCSEs for leavers.
A school's percentage doesn't always reflect its overall quality, as factors such as selectivity, intake ability and cohort size can affect the results.
Schools with larger year groups have a greater impact on the borough average than those with smaller cohorts.
Across Sutton, the overall sustained destination rate was 96 per cent (3,136 of 3,278 pupils), compared with 91 per cent across England state-funded schools.
Several of the borough's largest secondary schools recorded destination rates in the mid-90s, meaning the majority of their pupils went on to further education, apprenticeships or employment after Year 11.
The data places Sutton among the higher-performing areas in England for post-GCSE progression, with most pupils continuing in education, training or work after finishing secondary school.
