The highest-rated secondary schools in Sutton have been revealed in new rankings published by School Guide.
Figures from School Guide, an independent website that evaluates schools across the UK using official government performance statistics, Ofsted reports and parent feedback, have identified the borough’s top-performing state secondary schools.
The schools listed are located across Wallington, Cheam, Carshalton and central Sutton, with many having been graded 'good' or 'outstanding' in their latest inspections before Ofsted scrapped its one-word judgement system in September 2024.
According to the rankings, Wallington County Grammar School takes the top spot in Sutton.
The list is compiled using a range of measures including GCSE and A-level results, attendance figures and parent reviews.
The school was rated 'outstanding' overall in its most recent Ofsted inspection.
School Guide says its league tables are intended to give families a clear picture of how schools perform locally by analysing publicly available data.
