Primark has announced plans for a long-awaited new store in Epsom as part of its ongoing expansion across the UK.

Plans for a new Primark store at the Ashley Centre have been in the works since 2023, and the clothing chain has now announced that it will open next year.

Set to open in spring 2026, the new branch will occupy a 44,000 square feet unit across two floors inside the Ashley Centre.

It has already been described as one of the town’s most anticipated retail arrivals in years.

Shoppers can expect a wide range of women’s, men’s and kidswear, along with homeware, accessories and seasonal lines.

The store will sit next to JD Sports and close to Next, M&S and Oliver Bonas, strengthening the centre’s mix of national brands.

Primark says the Epsom opening will bring even more choice to the town, offering fashion, home essentials and everyday must-haves under one roof.

Will Greenland, Assistant Centre Manager at Ashley Centre, said: "The opening of Primark is one of the most highly anticipated openings that Ashley Centre has had for quite some time, and we know just how much local shoppers are looking forward to it.

"Primark’s arrival will not only bring a fantastic new retail offer to Epsom, but it will create new job opportunities, increase footfall, and further elevate the centre’s role as a prime shopping destination in the community.

"Primark is a well-loved brand, and we look forward to welcoming them in Spring next year."
