A large police cordon has been set up around the shops next to West Croydon station.

Pictures obtained by Your Local Guardian show a police car by police tape in North End.

The police car can be seen parked just by the side of West Croydon station, and the red cordon surrounding the shops next to it.  

The nature of the incident is unknown. 

We have contacted the Metropolitan Police and British Transport Police for further information.
