A man has been taken to hospital after an incident in Croydon.
Officers were called to George Street at around 11.25pm on Friday, May 17, to reports of an assault.
London Ambulance Service also attended the scene, and a man in his 40s was found with head injuries and taken to hospital.
No arrests have been made as of May 20 and police enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “At around 11.25pm on Friday, May 17, police were called to an assault on George Street, Croydon.
“Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service.
“A man, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital with head injuries.
“No arrests have been made, enquiries are ongoing.”
