Police have released a computer generated image of a man they are looking to identify following the rape of a woman in her 60s in Mitcham.
The assault took place on October 11, 2023 at around 11:30am, where a woman in her 60s reported being raped inside a home in Glebe Court in Mitcham.
Police have released an e-fit image of a suspect and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Detectives investigating a rape in south London are releasing a computer-generated image of a man they would like to identify.
“An investigation was launched after a woman in her 60s reported being raped by a man at a residential property on Glebe Court in Mitcham.
“The incident happened at approximately 11:30hrs on Wednesday, 11 October 2023.
“Officers continue to provide support to the woman.
“A number of enquiries have been carried out and detectives are now releasing an e-fit image of the suspect.
“Anyone who recognises the man is asked to email P233925@met.police.uk, call 101 quoting reference CAD 3613/11Oct23, or information can also be shared online.
“To remain anonymous contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.“
