Sir Christopher Lee, who has acted in over 250 films, died last Sunday at the age of 93, due to heart complications and reparatory problems. 

 

The world-renowned actor has starred in many internationally acclaimed films such as Dracula, and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. From his role as ‘Doctor Catheter” in the horror-comedy ‘Gremlins’, to his role as the cult leader of pagan fanatics in the thriller ‘ The Wicker man’, and his role as the evil wizard ‘Saruman’ in the ‘Lord of the Rings’ films, Lee has played a variety of different characters, in countless different genres of movie, demonstrating his versatility as an actor. 

 

 Christopher Lee was not only a talented actor, but a well awarded one also. He was knighted in 2009, and he received the prestigious BAFTA fellowship in 2011, to mark his achievements as a skilled thespian.
