The pupils of Warren Mead Junior School were were surprised to see an unexpected guest at their Celebration assembly last Friday! 9 year old, Faith Walker was delighted to be presented with a trophy from Chris Grayling! Her winning design had been selected as part of Chris' annual Christmas card competition.
Head Teacher Values Awards were given to those children who had particularly demonstrated the school values: honesty, helpfulness, kindness, equality, politeness and patience as well as respect are the values chosen by the children, forming the basis of their Behaviour Policy. Mrs Cunningham, the Head Teacher said we represent our values and achievements with the jammie dodger symbol. The biscuit represents our hard work and effort whilst the jammy heart reflects our values. It is important that we appreciate both!
