We would like to thank all those who attended the launch of the Surrey Arrhythmia Support Group on 16th July.
Our particular thanks too, to Dr Richard Bogle, who gave a wonderful presentation about Atrial Fibrillation and to the Epsom Guardian, Arrhythmia Alliance and Healthwatch who were among those who helped to publicise the event.
We had a packed room and patients came from as far afield as Berkshire and Hampshire. Through sharing their experiences, all contributed to make a very successful event.
Our next meeting will be at 4.45pm on September 10th in the Post Graduate Medical Centre at Epsom Hospital. We are fortunate to have the lead commissioning pharmacist from Surrey Downs CCG medicines management team as our speaker on anti-coagulation. Future speakers will include Dr Jarman from the Royal Brompton Hospital, who will talk about ablation, and a cardiologist from NHS England who will talk about medical treatment for cardiac problems.
