Will Sanderson has become the first Streatham Redskins player to reaffirm his commitment for next season.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper was in inspired form toward the end of the last campaign as the Redskins stayed up in National League South One on the last day of the season.

It will be his fourth season with the club and Sanderson was keen to stay and continue playing for head coach Barry Spours at their temporary rink in Brixton.

“I’m already looking forward to the new season,” said the former Slough Jets man.

“It was a tough season just gone but hopefully we can build on the great finish and work from there.

“Obviously, there are other options to consider every summer but with the new rink and after speaking with Barry about his plans for the season, I had no hesitation in signing for another year with the Skins.”

Redskins’ end of season party takes place on May 26 at the Greyhound Bar in Streatham from 8pm.

Tickets are available on the door and cost £5.
