London Olympians booked their place in the Southern Play off Final after they thrashed the Berkshire Renegades 48-0 on Sunday.

The win means that the Olympians are now 11 games unbeaten and face a winner takes all match against the Hampshire Thrashers this weekend.

Rob Williams, who plays the defensive line for the Olympians, was delighted with the team's display as they brushed aside their opponents.

“It was amazing. 48-0! You couldn't ask for much more really. Everything went to plan which is great for team.” He said.

“All the units played to the best of their ability. The opposition started brightly but we held them off and our offence took over which knocked the wind out of the Renegades really.”

Their next opponents at the Crystal Palace Sports Centre, the Hampshire Thrashers, will provide a tough test for Olympians with both sides desperate for promotion.

“We know that they beat the Rengades 30-0 a couple of weeks ago but they also lost to them earlier on in the season but it will be tough.”

Williams' added, “They have been in the play off's before and have been knocking on the door the past couple of years so they are quite experienced. But if we can play like we did yesterday then we have a great chance. We put a lot of work in so hopefully it pays off.”

The Olympians play their crunch game this Sunday at the National Sports Centre with K.O at 1.00pm.
