Cheam Bowling Club collected two victories from their first three friendly matches of the season.

President, Denis Veale, led his triples to a comfortable 13 shot win in the opening game against Malden & Coombe.

Meanwhile, new captain John Parsons finished his match against Dorking 18 shots ahead. Cheam won both games, but struggled in the Mixed match at Wallington, a game that was interrupted a couple of times by thunder, lightning and heavy rain. Wallington won on three of the five rinks, Cheam drawing on one and winning the other.Cheam's first competitive games are in the National Two-Fours.
