Hampton & Richmond Borough defender Alan Bray is said to be "in good spirits" after an operation on his broken arm.
Bray broke his arm in two places in the Ryman Premier League match at the Beveree against Met Police on Tuesday night - forcing the match to be abandoned.
Club chaplain Paul Barker said: "Alan is recovering from an op on his arm, which he had earlier today, in Kingston hospital.
"He hopes to be discharged tomorrow, but it depends on having feeling in his fingers. He feels positive that he will be ok to leave. He's in good spirits and is being well looked after."
Co-manager Paul Barry tweeted: "Alan's arm has been pinned and he has had a couple of plates put in to help the repair."
The Beavers start their FA Cup journey this weekend at home to Ashford (M'sex) - kick off 3pm.
