Teddington will be out to repeat their recent success over Eastcote and extend their lead at the top of Middlesex County League Division One this Saturday.

The league’s top two met two weeks ago, with Teddington edging a tight contest by just 12 runs, but Eastcote will be eyeing revenge on their own patch this weekend.

Last Saturday, Teddington made it four wins from five this season with a seven-wicket victory over Southgate.

A devastating bowling performance from Nicholas Ellsmore (4-26) and Chris Paget (4-18) saw Southgate bowled out for just 80.

Despite losing Paget early in reply, James Keightley’s 42 not out saw Teddington home with wickets to spare.

Twickenham and Richmond occupy the two promotion spots in Division One after both secured wins last weekend.

Twickenham went to Ickenham and secured a nervous four-wicket victory.

Maaz Haffeji’s 5-37 had helped bowl Ickenham out for 120, but they were struggling in reply at 54-5 before Parminda Singh’s 39 not out eased them to their target.

They go to North Middlesex this Saturday.

It was a similar story for Richmond, who moved into second place after their own four-wicket win at Acton.

Both Dain Moreton and Bhavesh Pankhania took three wickets as Acton were all out for 112, before Kevin Barrett’s 31 and Nicholas Meadows’ 30 put them on the way to victory despite a small middle order collapse.

Richmond host bottom side Ickenham this Saturday.

l NPL Sports Club were beaten in the RB & District One, Two, Three competition by North Sheen on Sunday.

Despite a convincing 21-10 win by Phil Weller in the singles, both the NPL pairs and triples lost, with North Sheen winning overall by one shot with the last bowl of the game.
