Four teenagers have been charged with the murder of a man on a Battersea estate.
Brandon Akapea, 18, Kishon Allen, 18, a 16-year-old, and a 17-year-old appear in court today, accused of knifing Mahamed Hassan to death
Mahamed, 17, who was known as ‘Little Mo’, was stabbed to death while cycling on the York Road estate in the early hours of the morning on April 23.
Mr Akapea of Stockwell Road, Stockwell, and Mr Allen of Mount Road, Mitcham, a 16-year-old boy from Tooting and a 17-year-old boy from Lambeth, will appear at South London Magistrates’ Court .
Tyriq Aboagye, 18, of Westbury Road, Ilford, was charged on Saturday, April 29, and has been remanded in custody. A trial has been scheduled for October 16.
A 17-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man who were arrested on Wednesday, April 26, have both been released with no further action being taken.
