Two Battersea drug dealers have been sentenced to a combined total of 11 years in prison after a huge drugs bust by police.

Officers found more than £100,000 in cash and £84,000 worth of drugs when they raided Florence House, Haydon Way, on June 21.

More than 2kg of cannabis, 889g of cocaine, 850g of MDMA, a gram of heroin and 55 Alprazolam (Class C) tablets were seized.

Beau Ashton Lewis, 30, was sentenced to six years and two months in jail, while Carmen Camilleri, 49, was given five years at Kingston Crown Court today (November 29).

Detective Constable John Baldwin, from the Met Police, said: “This has been a very successful operation that resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of drugs from the streets of Wandsworth and illicit proceeds from criminals.

“Drug dealing will not be tolerated in this borough and those who use their premises for storing and dealing drugs will risk losing council housing and financial assets will be seized.”

Both pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cannabis and cocaine, as well as criminal property, while Lewis admitted a further three charges of possessing Alprazolam, heroin and MDMA.
