A gang of men armed with a gun fled a Battersea bar on Saturday after customers threw chairs and bottles at them.
Police were called to The Beaufoy Bar in Lavender Hill at around 2am on Saturday after reports that shots had been fired.
Officers found one man in his 30s had been robbed of cash and jewellery but no one was injured.
The suspects, all described as black and in their late teens to early 20s, made off through the front door and went into Ashley Crescent.
There were around five of them and they all wore dark clothing.
Trident detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward who may have been in the pub or in the vicinity at the time of the incident.
