Distinctive Worcester Park landmarks, from the Hamptons estate to the Huntsman's Hall pub, have been added to the global mapping revolution.
Volunteers gathered at the library in Windsor Road recently to chart streets, pubs, parks and allotments in the suburb for the OpenStreetMap project.
Its detailed digital maps are created and edited by communities and are free to reproduce without the normal commercial restrictions.
Organiser Tom Chance said: "It was a fun day out, and a great way to learn more about how maps are made. The maps are a really nice way for people to discover new gardens, pubs or anything else that takes their fancy on that same old route to work or school."
