Police are appealing for information after a robbery on board a train to Hampton Wick and then an assault at the station.
The robbery happened between 11pm and 11.30pm on June 30 when two teenage boys were travelling from Kempton Park to Hampton Wick.
They were approached by three men who asked them to empty their pockets.
The men stole a wallet, iPhone and Oyster card from the first victim before threatening them both.
One boy was slapped across the face and a vodka bottle "made contact with his jaw", but he did not sustain any injuries from the attack.
The three offenders got off the train at Hampton Wick and assaulted another man at the station near the ticket machines.
The victim, a 22-year-old man, was walking down the stairs to the exit of the main station when the offender approached from behind him to grab a cigarette from the victim’s hand.
When the victim turned around he was hit on the head with a vodka bottle, sustaining a large cut to his head and bruising to his eye and cheekbone.
Members of the public came to help him, with a woman walking him home.
Officers from British Transport Police would like to speak to this woman, who has an Irish accent, and anyone else who witnessed the incident that has not yet come forward with information.
If you have any information about the incidents, call Detective Constable Vanessa Cadrecha-Paolucci on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016, quoting reference number 222 14/7/17.
