Detectives hunting the killer of a young Tamil father in Mitcham have made two further arrests today.
Two 18-year old men have been arrested in connection with the murder of Akilankumar Kanthasamy, 28, who was stabbed in the heart in Pollards Hill on Saturday evening, October 22.
Six people in total have now been arrested in connection with Mr Kanthasamy's murder.
Yesterday, police said they had arrested an 18-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy on Tuesday night, while a 17-year-old boy was arrested on Wednesday.
On Monday, a 16-year-old boy was arrested and released on bail without being charged yesterday.
Two knives have also been recovered and Detective Chief Inspector Mark Dunne, who is leading the investigation, told Pollards Hill residents on Tuesday he was "fairly certain" he had got the murder weapon.
