A man charged with stabbing a woman in Mitcham has failed to appear in court.
James Wall, 22, of Market Street, Dorset, was arrested after a 33-year-old woman was stabbed in the leg in Glebe Court at around 10pm on Friday, January 20.
He was charged with maliciously wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm after being arrested in the Weymouth area on Sunday, January 22.
After appearing at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, January 25, Mr Wall was bailed to appear at Kingston Crown Court to enter his plea on Monday, February 20.
However, Mr Wall did not attend his hearing. Kingston Crown Court confirmed a warrant has now been issued for his arrest.
