Two men who robbed a man at knifepoint for £255 and two mobile phones have been jailed.
Faisal Ahmadi, 23, of Truslove Road, West Norwood and Kamran Safi, 19, of Melrose Avenue, Mitcham forced their way into the victims bedroom in Alton Road, Croydon, and threatened him with a knife.
They then punched and kicked him before leaving with the phone and cash.
There were five other men with them.
At Croydon Crown Court on Monday Ahmadi was sentenced to eight years and six months and Safi was sentenced to six years and ten months, both for aggravated burglary and theft.
DC Robert Jamieson, led the investigation for Croydon police, said: “This was a terrifying ordeal for the victim.
“Both suspects did what they could to thwart investigators but the evidence against them was overwhelming after they were both positively picked out by the victim in an identification parade.
“Efforts to identify the other males involved continue."
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
