Hundreds of people got together to play in a football tournament in memory of late councillor Gam Gurung.
The Nepalese community rallied round to organise the third annual tournament held at the Tooting and Mitcham Football Club on Saturday, August 22, as a tribute to Councillor Gam Gurung, below, who died in 2013.
A total of 18 teams who were from all over the country took part, cheered on by family and friends from the sidelines.
Coun Gurung’s wife Kabita was on hand to present the trophies at the end of the day.
Organiser Deependra Lama said: "It was really good.
"We had fun and it was sunny so what more could you want?"

Money raised will go directly to friends and family helping victims of the Nepalese earthquakes which struck in April. Morden man Rocky Gurung is among those helping people in remote areas to re-build their lives after the devastation.
Coun Gurung, of Colliers Wood ward, died after a six month battle with cancer.
A former Ghurkha solder, Mr Gurung grew up in the Himalayas and later founded the South London Nepalese Ghurkha Association (SLNGA) championing the rights of Ghurkhas in the UK.
