Hockey players celebrated the 125th anniversary of their club in style with a step back in time.
Players dressed up in long skirts and blouses for a special game to replicate the costume of the Victoria era when the Wimbledon Ladies Hockey Club was established.
Costumes of days gone by
The outfits were painstakingly made by captain Joanna Close. Some of the players donned long skirts, button fronted shirts, ties and boater hats for a celebratory match between the women and past captains.
There is an exhibition of memorabilia; including hockey kits through the ages on display - some of it donated by the members and some from the hockey museum.
A cake to mark the anniversary
More than 60 past and present members of the club based in Wimbledon and Raynes Park got together for the celebration.
