Battersea, Putney and Tooting Labour Parties have added their voices to the call for Labour Leader, Jeremy Corbyn, to stand down in the aftermath of the EU referendum.

All three Labour groups had meetings to discuss the passing of votes of no-confidence in the much maligned Labour Leader.

All the motions were passed by; 76 per cent of Battersea Labour members; 59 per cent of Tooting members, and 79 per cent of members in Putney.

Tooting recently won a byelection, triggered by Sadiq Khan's mayoral victory, when Dr Rosena Allin-Khan increased the labour majority in the area to 6,357.

Jeremy Corbyn became Labour leader in 2015 after a landslide leadership election, despite having little support among Labour MPs.

His leadership has been plagued by criticism and resignations as many of the Parliamentary Labour Party doubt his ability to win a general election.
