A Waitrose lorry has tipped over on the A3036 Wandsworth Road closing three lanes of traffic.
The lorry tipped on the northbound route near the A3205 Parry Street.
Originally four out of the six lanes of traffic connecting to the Waterloo ring road east and west were closed.
A worker at a medical centre overlooking the road, above a Tesco store, said she believed the lorry had topped over about three hours ago.
She said: "A truck is still outside the front of Tesco. Police are there. I think it skidded off. Patients told us about it."
A Waitrose spokesperson said: "Most importantly we're thankful that no-one has been injured, although our driver is understandably shaken.
"We're very grateful to the emergency services for their response and are working with authorities to safely re-open the road as soon as possible."
More to come.
