Youngsters learned all about primates during a special Monkey Day at Battersea Park Children's Zoo.
Staff at the zoo, located within Battersea Park, read stories about primates and gave talks on Tuesday.
Children were invited to make a monkey picture or collage in a monkey day workshop.
Visitors could also watch the animals being fed twice during the day.
The event is part of a series of workshops taking place in the zoo during the summer holidays.
A coati day, ferret day and chicken day have been organised to take place before September.
