Learn about home security and personal safety at a meet and greet session at Tooting Police Station.
The Graveney and Furzedown local policing team are holding a community safety awareness day, on Tuesday, August 19.
The team, led by Sergeant Simon Harris, will be handing out crime prevention advice and safety goodies.
It will be an opportunity for the public to meet Sergeant Harris who recently joined the team.
The officers will also be security marking bikes and handing out special pens for people to take home and mark their valuables with.
The council’s community safety division will also attend the event. They are led by Neighbourhood Officer Adama Sulaiman who has organised for a local locksmith company to take part in the event.
The event will be held outside the station, in Mitcham Road, from 11am to 3pm.
