The controversial "green wall" in Sutton has finally been revealed.

The £130,000 wall of living foliage is the final major part of the Sutton High Street redevelopment.

It is set across the Wilkinsons building in Trinity Square.

It was previously hidden by scaffolding while it was put up over the past few months.

The scaffolding was removed this morning.

Councillor Jayne McCoy, executive member for planning, economic development and housing, said: "This living, vertical garden is a signature part of the town centre improvement project and I am pleased that it has finally been delivered."

"The wall will be in bloom all year round and will bring health benefits as well as colour to the area."
