A teenage drug dealer who cycled between Sutton schools and parks selling cocaine and cannabis has been banned from riding a bike.

Aiden Stent, 18, has been forbidden by a judge to possess a pedal bike anywhere in London after he admitted possession of Class A and Class B drugs with intent to supply.

Stent, of Matlock Crescent, Cheam, was also ordered to avoid parts of Sutton where he plied his trade before being arrested on June 17 last year.

The teenager sold drugs near the gates of Cheam High School and Limes College in Sutton, using his bike to travel between deals.

He also supplied cocaine and cannabis at Fairlands Park, Cheam, and Cheam Park Recreation Ground

The three-year Criminal Behaviour Order, made by a judge at Croydon Crown Court on Friday, forbids the teenager from entering Chatsworth Road, near Cheam High School, the area around Limes College in Robin Hood Lane and both parks.

The order also stipulates he must not associate with five named men and two women aged between 18 and 24 anywhere in London.

Stent was riding his bike when he was arrested by plain clothes police officers, who found him in possession of five small bags of cocaine and five small bags of cannabis.

He was handed a two-year suspended jail sentence on Friday.

Constable Mel Cooney, acting sergeant at Sutton police anti-social behaviour unit, said: "Criminal Behaviour Orders are an opportunity for offenders to mend their ways and deter them from crime.

"However, we can reassure the public that we monitor all such orders closely to see whether they are working.

"Any breaches will be dealt with robustly, which in this case could result in the offender being sentenced to two years in prison."
