Does this Christmas tree need a little TLC?
No ornaments, apart from a star and a single purple sash, cover this metallic 'tree'.
That is the sight outside Streatham Hill station this December protected behind metal crowd barriers.
And some festive well-wishers are not happy.
What do you think?

Olivia Mace described it as a "spindly thing with a tinsel vertex".
This is not a tree, Streatham. This is a lopsided spindly thing with a tinsel vertex. pic.twitter.com/YoEauTW1eQ

Not everyone hated it.
Yes, the Xmas tree at #Streatham Hill could do with being straightened up, but they all look lovely when lit :-)

Personally I think the #Streatham Xmas lights look great! Who cares if it's a real tree? More sustainable & recyclable = saves money!
