Pupils at Streatham and Clapham High School have raised over £1,000 for the mental health charity, MIND, and for Save the Children by singing carols and by rowing.
Twelve year seven pupils rowed an impressive 140 miles in under nine hours in a sponsored rowathon.
The rowathon was initiated by the Girls’ Day School Trust as part of this year’s 140th anniversary celebrations.
Money was also raised at the school’s annual carol service at Southwark Cathedral and at Sainsbury’s, Streatham Common where shoppers were entertained by school choirs.
