Squires Garden Centre chairman Colin Squire has been awarded one of the highest honours of the gardening industry.
Mr Squire, who owns the garden centre in Twickenham’s Sixth Cross Road, was presented with the Horticulture Trades Association Pearson Memorial medal on September 30 at Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire.
He said: "I have so enjoyed my life in the horticultural industry and have met so many wonderful people over the years who have inspired me in my passion for gardening. It really means a lot to me to be given the Pearson Memorial Medal."
