Epsom and Ewell MP Chris Grayling has been announced as the new secretary of state for transport.
A government spokesperson said: "The Queen has been pleased to approve the appointment of Rt Hon Chris Grayling MP as Secretary of State for Transport."
Mr Grayling was seen entering 10 Downing Street this afternoon amidst numerous cabinet appointments by new Prime Minister Theresa May (pictured above).

Grayling is new Transport Sec. Maybe now he'll fulfill his election promise to extend the oyster zone to his constituency? @epsomguardian

In 2012 Mr Grayling helped launch a campaign to bring Oyster to Epsom. Four years later the borough still falls outside the boundaries of Transport for London (TfL).
From May 2012: Bring Epsom into London Zone 6
From November 2015: Five Surrey towns and Gatwick jump ahead of Epsom in line for Oyster cards despite years of campaigning
At the time, he said: "Epsom is the point at which both rail lines to Waterloo and Victoria and the ones to London Bridge all join up.
"It seems entirely logical that this is the point at which Zone Six ends and the Oyster card starts."
He also said that TfL buses already served Epsom, so could see "no reason" why trains couldn't be considered for the capital zone system.
Thought he'd get a bigger job than this, important though it is #demotion ? https://t.co/xwSeLzEts8
