Shoppers are gearing up for the annual Ewell Yule today, where all the local traders and organisations will get together to celebrate Christmas on the High Street.
Last year's Ewell Yule
The shops in the village will stay open late, selling Christmas goodies, mince pies and mulled wine.
The Christmas favourite will be held today between 5pm and 8pm, and the First Ewell Brownie troupe will be singing in uniform from 6pm.

In another outburst of festive cheer, Santa Claus and his elves from the Epsom Playhouse show, the Night before Christmas, visited Fennies Nursery, in Hook Road, Epsom yesterday.
The interactive show will run at the Playhouse between today and Christmas Eve, and children will get the chance to meet Santa afterwards.
To spread the cheer, Father Christmas made a special stop at the nursery to give out presents.
And finally, the Ashley Centre announced its Christmas shopping hours, as they stay open for an extended run over the festive period, and parking is free on Sundays after December 6. Visit www.theashleycentre.co.uk for trading hours.
