A Tadworth equestrian centre celebrated its 39th birthday by raising hundreds of pounds for an animal charity at its annual open day.
Wildwoods Riding Centre in Ebbisham Lane, Walton on the Hill, entertained several hundred guests with falconers, a bake sale, raffle and even dancing horses on Saturday, September 26.
The £275 raised from the bake sale and raffle was donated to Blue Cross, which re-home unwanted or abandoned pets and provide care and support to pets and pet-owners.
Betchworth falconers, Hawk on the Wild Side, dazzled the crowd with displays from birds of prey, including a saker falcon, buzzard, harris hawk and a spotted eagle owl.
But the highlight of the day was the centre’s musical display as eight of the horses and riders performed a dressage routine to Queen’s I Want to Break Free.
Well done all, just part of a great afternoon at Wildwoods.
