A motorway lane has been closed in order to repair a loose manhole cover and prevent its collapse.
One lane of the M25 in the anticlockwise direction remains closed between Junction 9, at Leatherhead, and Junction 10, at Reigate.

A Highways Agency spokesman said they were told about the problem with the manhole cover at 8am today.
He said: "It looked as though it was coming loose. As a remedial measure they got it sorted before it does collapse or get broken."
He said the concrete used for the repairs is still setting and the lane will remain closed until midafternoon. He added: "At the moment there are no delays."
