Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was shot in Mitcham.
Armed police found a man with a gunshot wound after they were called to Phipps Bridge Road just before 8.50pm on Thursday, March 23.
The 28-year-old victim remains in hospital. His injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police's Trident Gang and Area Crime Command are investigating.
No arrests have been made.
Detective Inspector Edward Facer said: "We would appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident to contact us, no matter how insignificant they think that information is.
"It is important we get as much information as possible to allow us to piece together what has happened and bring those responsible to justice."
