Four people charged with fraud after they were caught tampering with ATM on CCTV
Four men have been charged after CCTV recorded an ATM being tampered with last night.
The men, who were arrested last night, have all been charged with the possession or control of an article for use in fraud.
The men charged are Manikkam Sivakumaran, 40, of Plough Lane, Wimbledon, Varathan Rajun Santhanam, 44, of Mellison Road, Wandsworth, Mylvaganam Naresh, 30, of Brixton Road, Lambeth, and Dilrukshan Gnaneswaran, 23, also of Brixton Road, Lambeth.
All four men are due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today.
Merton Police are warning people to be vigilant when using ATMs to withdraw money.
They advise people to cover their pin number, check their surroundings and always report anything suspicious.
