A 26-year-old man has been charged by police and detained under the mental health act after a triple assault in Waddon.
Shahin Hosein, 26, of Borough Hill, was arrested after three people suffered head injuries at a house on the road on Sunday morning.
One of those injured, a 60-year-old man, remains in hospital. A 35-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman were also taken to hospital but have since been discharged.
Mr Hosein has been charged with three counts of causing grievous bodily harm and detained under section 2 of the nental health act.
He is being assessed in a secure hospital unit.
Police and paramedics were called to the house in Borough Hill at 8.25am on Sunday.
