A school fair raised more than £4,000 for autistic children and attracted hundreds of people at the weekend.
Papillon House School fair was held to raise money for a sensory garden for pupils at the specialist autism school based in Pebble Close, Tadworth.
The fair, organised by the Friends of Papillon House charity, raised £4,158 - the group’s biggest fundraiser to date.
Catherine Potter, chairwoman of the charity said: "We are absolutely thrilled by the support we have received from local and London businesses. With the funds that we have raised we will now be able to proceed with the installation of phase one of the sensory garden project in June.
"We are very excited for the children and truly thankful to everyone that has made this possible.
"The sensory garden equipment will make a big difference to the lives of the children at the school and for pupils in future years."
