The University for the Creative Arts (UCA) has been awarded the Investor's in People bronze award after a recent inspection.
UCA, which has five campuses including Epsom, is now one of only a few organisations in the country to reach this level.
To receive the bronze standard, organisations have to show success in 26 areas and prove that staff are committed to achieving strategic goals.
Assessors who visited UCA found that staff had a clear understanding of the university's vision and objectives.
UCA Director of Human Resources, Angela Fisher said: “We are delighted. The award endorses the fact that staff are engaged with the university and are given opportunities to develop their roles in a way which benefits the whole institution and our students.”
