A man is to stand trial accused of attacking two men with a machete.
Calvin Fairweather of Barrow Road, Streatham, denied two charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm at Croydon Crown Court on Monday.
Five men were left injured following a mass brawl in High Road, Thornton Heath on June 2.
Police and London Ambulance were called to the scene shortly before 5pm, after a fight broke out between men outside J & J Halal Butcher and Grocer.
Mr Fairweather, 47, will stand trial on April 8 next year.
