ARTISTS have descended on Greenwich for a "sketch crawl" of the town’s famous landmarks.
More than 50 people came along to draw some of Greenwich's best known sights - The Cutty Sark, The Royal Observatory, The Royal Naval College - as well as less prominent details - trees, roads, cars, cafés and tourists.
The event on September 15 was organised by Urban Sketchers London, part of a global community who share their "location drawings" online.
Brockley-based member Nathan Brenville said: "Seeing how different people use different techniques and approaches is always fascinating, and when you get a lot of people together to tackle similar subjects it becomes very constructive and inspiring.
"I hope the day encourages more people to draw more often."
