A man has been charged with attempted murder after another man was stabbed in the face in Streatham.
Steven Clarke, 35, remains in intensive care after being stabbed in the face and body on Tuesday.
An ambulance took the victim to a south London hospital with life threatening injuries from a house on James Boswell Close.
Police were called to the scene at 12.50pm and have recovered a weapon.
Later that day Dennis Robinson, 61, of Crampton Street, Elephant and Castle, was arrested and has been remanded in custody.
Mr Robinson, who has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon, will appear at Inner London Crown Court in November.
